Data accessed

The integration may access calendar names, event titles, dates, times, descriptions, locations, attendees, and availability when permission is granted through Google OAuth.

How data is used

Calendar data is used only to display events in the owner's private Home Assistant installation and to run automations configured by the owner.

Storage and sharing

Calendar data is processed by the self-hosted Home Assistant installation. It is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with third parties by this integration. Home Assistant may retain local state and history according to the owner's configuration.

Security and access

Google authorization uses OAuth 2.0. The integration does not receive or store the Google account password. Access is restricted to accounts explicitly authorized by the owner.

Revoking access and deletion

Access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account connections page or by removing the Google Calendar integration from Home Assistant. Locally retained Home Assistant data can be deleted by the owner from the Home Assistant installation.

Scope

This policy applies only to this private Home Assistant Calendar integration. Google and Home Assistant operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
